Dubai is one of the most extravagant cities in the world. Translated into money language, that means it is also one of the most expensive places there is. A couple of years ago, hotel prices started at a $600 per night and I am not talking about 5 stars hotels. Today, at least one good side of the economic situation is the massive drop in hotel prices.
If you are coming to Dubai and your aim is to do shopping, then I highly recommend "Corp Hotel Apartment" in the area of Barsha. I recommend this hotel for several reasons. One is its proximity from the Emirates Mall (7-minute walk if you're not fast!). Two, it is a very new hotel complex that comprises of very spacious 1 and 2 bedroom apartments that are beautifully furnished and maintained. Really, outstanding value for money. So, just for comparison sake, if you decide to stay in Kempinski hotel, which is located inside the Emirates Mall, you will surely have a great stay (well, a smaller room for sure) but you will end up paying anything starting $740 Below are some photos of Corp hotel apartments so you visually see what I am talking about!
